Teach diving
The SSI Instructor is authorised to train divers from beginner to Divemaster. It's your key to working at any SSI centre in the world, opening your own operation, or teaching while travelling.
Our Instructor training programme prepares you for the ITC (Instructor Training Course) and the IE (Instructor Evaluation). You'll be guided by an experienced Instructor Trainer in an active professional environment.

Instructor Training Course (ITC)
Intensive preparation for the Instructor exam. Teaching methodology, theory presentations, open water demonstrations, class management.

Instructor Evaluation (IE)

Prerequisites
The Instructor pathway is demanding. Here are the entry requirements.
- SSI Divemaster certification (or validated equivalent)
- Minimum 100 logged dives
- Current EFR / React Right certification
- Enriched Air Nitrox certification
- Good physical fitness
- Medical certificate less than 12 months old
- Communication and teaching skills
- Minimum age 18
